Kids, this one is also not for you guys.

Hi Grandma and Grandpa,

Happy 50th anniversary. I just wanted to say congratulations. As I never really got to know any of my grandparents, over the past 6 years, I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you guys. It was very natural to call you guys my grandparents. I always enjoy coming over and talking to you and your granddaughter. From learning about the new puzzles or builds that grandpa is working on to hearing about your health updates or just reminiscing about the past, it is always a pleasure to listen to you both. Also, your granddaughter has been giving Emi and me great haircuts, thanks to your guidance. Watching how your grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and others just pop in is just beautifully wonderful. Grandma remembers everyone’s birthdays and comings and goings. Grandpa is always eager to help with a project, whether it is building puzzles, setting up tables for weddings, or building garden stands.

Your granddaughter and I would often watch you guys and just think #goals. Which means that it is something we strive for. You always make it through the ups and downs. Grandma does it with realism, and grandpa does it through his steadfastness. Watching the beauty of how you guys communicate, I pray that my relationship can grow into something as beautiful. A hearing aid may help.
